If you are looking for a more budget-friendly option, the restaurant offers a set lunch menu for $225.

It isn’t that surprising that one of our most expensive dinner items comes from Las Vegas, a place where expensive items are quite common. The Joël Robuchon restaurant in the MGM Grand presents the Degustation Menu, which costs around $425 per person. The menu is served on small plates highlighting foods like caramelized quail, seared duck foie gras, and sweet bread.

Kyoto Kitchen sits at number ten on our most expensive dinner list and offers several prix fixe menus to choose from. Their most expensive option costs $600 per person and contains a meal of at least ten courses. Our ninth most expensive dinner is a prix fixe menu of up to 13 courses, a feast of various textures, flavors, and colors served to the whole table. One of their delicious dishes is a duck, lobster, and artichoke soup with black truffles.

Just to enjoy the two-hour sushi experience at Masa, located in New York, it costs $750 per person. This does not include tax or drinks, which will bump up the price even more. The menu changes regularly, so you will never know what kind of sushi is being served but that doesn’t matter. All that does is that each dish served will be the finest Japanese cuisine crafted by Chef Masayoshi Takayama.

China’s restaurant Ultraviolet brings a new concept to high dining, combining food and atmosphere into an unforgettable dining experience. Designed by French chef Paul Pairet in 2012, the 20-course meal is designed with specific music and light shows for each course. All of the guests sitting at the table will receive the same course at the same time, to make sure the experience is at full value.

A sweet tooth will be needed for our next food item. Though not a complete dinner, Serendipity3 in New York does offer a $1,000 dessert instead. The dish is created with Tahitian vanilla ice cream made with Madagascar vanilla beans, and covered in 24-carat gold leaf, specialty chocolates, Parisian candied fruits, truffles, caviar, and more.

The best part? The whole dish is served in a Baccarat crystal bowl that you take home as a souvenir. If you’re willing to buy this dish, it is recommended to pre-order at least 48 hours in advance.

You might be surprised at our next most expensive dinner due to the restaurant it is located in. Norma’s restaurant in New York is not known for its expensive dishes. Most of them settle in the $30 range. But their Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata costs a staggering $1,000 due to what is inside the omelet.

Each omelet contains 10 ounces of caviar, making the Zillion Dollar Frittata the most expensive omelet in the Guinness Book of World Records. If you don’t have $1,000 lying around, Norma’s offers a smaller frittata with one ounce of caviar for $100.

A three-hour dining experience may sound enticing, but at $2,000, it costs more than a month’s worth of food for an average family. SubliMotion operates very similar to Ultraviolet, though it is more expensive. The restaurant is located in the Hard Rock Hotel in Ibiza, opened by Chef Paco Roncero to create a new dining experience.

Almost every restaurant sells a burger, but none of them cost over $5,500 like De Dalton’s Golden Boy Burger. Robbert Jan de Veen’s diner in the Netherlands serves their Golden Boy Burger with 100% Wagyu A5 meat. But that’s not all. Beluga caviar, king crab, Spanish Paleta Ibérico, white truffle, and English cheddar complete the main parts of the burger.

With a special request and twenty-four hours’ notice, the resort will make a dessert featuring an Italian cassata flavored with Irish cream and served with a pomegranate and mango compote. The star of the show is the base, which is a champagne sabayon adorned with an 80-carat aquamarine stone placed under a chocolate stilt fisherman.
