Precious Moments are a popular collectible you might have seen around your parents or grandparent’s home. Samuel began his creations by illustrating children with teardrop-shaped eyes on cards, but they soon grew into sculptures. In 1978, the Original 21 Precious Moments figurines were released worldwide and have since grown into a large collection.
But which are the most valuable Precious Moments for collectors? Since its founding in the late 1970s, there are over 2,000 Precious Moments sculptures to date, and these are the most valuable of them all.
5. Share the Gift of Love, $1,000
Each Precious Moment figurine is a beautiful creation with light, yet beautiful colors. This limited edition figure displays a boy and girl lying on the grass in front of a Bonsai tree with pink flowers, and a butterfly fluttering by the children. It’s highly detailed and a prize for any collector trying to finish their collection.
This one was sold through eBay by user timbu45 for $1,000. While the value might seem high, it’s due to it being the 114th figurine in just 1,000 ever released, making it one of the most valuable Precious Moments around.

4. A Wonderful Dream Come True, $1,400
Precious Moments takes inspiration from religion, holidays, and even popular franchises. One such franchise is Disney. The adorable characters and cute colors and artwork perfectly with Disney princesses and the fantasy worlds they live in. One sculpture that shows this off is the Cinderella-themed Precious Moment, A Wonderful Dream Come True, one of the most valuable Precious Moments.
This rare figurine can cost upwards of $1,500 on secondary marketplaces like eBay. It features Cinderella in a baby blue gown standing in front of her pumpkin carriage. It’s also a music box that plays the tune “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” when wound up.

3. God Loveth a Cheerful Giver, $1,500
This adorable creation is one of the Original 21, which are some of the most valuable Precious Moments that you can collect. Even though it’s one of the Original 21, almost all of them have retired, except for one that is still being produced. Due to this, it’s extremely hard to get your hands on items, like the one above.
The sculpture features a girl holding a “free puppies” sign standing next to a wagon full of adorable puppies. The sculpture is worth around $1,500.

2. We Would See Jesus, $1,800
The Chapel Exclusive collection has several figures and features a plethora of spiritual-related artwork. One example, and also one of the most valuable Precious Moments, as it’s one out of 1,500 pieces total, is We Would See Jesus.
The rare 9-inch figure shows two little boys and a young girl riding a camel, all three wearing crowns with gemstones, like representing the three wise men who travel to see Jesus after his birth to bring gifts. A few figures have sold through eBay, with one priced up to $1,800.
1. The Power of Your Love Astounds Me, $2,600
The most expensive Precious Moments sculpture goes to another Disney collaboration piece. This item is one of the most beautiful creations with intricate and colorful designs that feature a scene from Rapunzel’s story, Tangled.
It’s another music box, just like Cinderella’s sculpture, that features the song “I See the Light” when wound. This sculpture has Rapunzel and Pascal at the top of her tower with flowing golden hair falling down, with Flynn Ryder at the bottom, and trusty Maximus staring threateningly at the thief.
