WANDAVISION THEORIES: Everyone has them at this point…

And it is no surprise, it’s a Disney Plus show filled with references to other shows and comics:

While some of these nods are obvious, there are also some easter eggs that you might have missed…

So far, there have been a number of references to both comic book history and popular Marvel movies, and these are the easter eggs we base our WandaVision theories on.

Agnes as a possible Marvel Villian

Agatha Harkness is a neighbor of Wanda in the comic, and some eagle-eyed fans have pointed out that if you combine the words Agatha and Harkness together you can get Agnes:

(Which sounds like a weak clue at first glance).

However, Agnes is always wearing a brooch in Wandavison – in a similar manner that Agatha wears in the Scarlet Witch comics…

So it seems those eagle-eyed fans could be on to something.

The question is, who is Agatha Harkness in the comic books?

She is a powerful witch and one of the original witches from the Salem witch trials. In the comic books, she mentors Wanda – who later kills her:

Perhaps in WandaVision, Agatha/Agnes is out for revenge?

Vision’s diamond pattern tie

In the first, episode Vision is wearing a tie with a diamond pattern which is very much similar to the business attire that Vision wore in the Marvel comic ‘The Vision‘ by Tom King.

Additionally, Vision’s workplace has been rumored to be a computational service branch of a major corporation – maybe even Stark Industries?

It is plausible, considering what the hologram machine in Spider-Man Far From Home could do.

Stark Industries toaster

Every Marvel fan will be familiar with Stark Industries, the corporation of Tony Stark:

Well, the episode 1 commercial in Wandavision is all about a toaster with a logo that suggests that it was manufactured by Stark Industries.

Moreover, if you notice closely the toaster also makes a similar sound to Iron Man’s suit when he is about to fire a new weapon.

Could this mean there is a new Iron Man ready to pop up in the Marvel Universe, and maybe even introduced in WandaVision?

Is Vision dead?

After Wanda expels Monica from Westview, she turns around to see a glimpse of what Vision actually looks like because he is dead:

She quickly shakes away the reality and continues living in her sit-com world with her husband is alive – and this is not the first time fans see life being drained out of vision.

In Avengers Infinity War, Vision had a similar look when Thanos plucked out the infinity stone from his forehead.

However, there is an even bigger question that emerges at this point. The sit-com illusion Wanda is living in, is in fact her own, hiding away from Vision’s death and his actual resting place, on Wakanda.

The helicopter’s sword symbol

The colorful helicopter that pops up in the black and white world of Wanda’s vision indicates that there is someone from the outside that is trying to break into this fantasy world.

To get to the reality of the intruder you need to know who S.H.I.E.L.D and S.W.O.R.D are:

S.H.I.E.L.D is an organization that is committed to fighting supernatural threats being faced by the world. S.W.O.R.D is a different organization in the comic books (no spoilers, but click here to see what S.W.O.R.D is).

So, it is logical to assume that Sword will be making its way into WandaVision and the future Marvel cinematic universe.
