Cruising down the road is one of the best feelings. And while many of us spend our lives saving up for a motorcycle, some out there grow a collection of them. That’s where the most expensive motorcycles come in. Most are already expensive anyway, but the ones that have an innovative design, unique features, or were just created to show off, are the ones that made the list. From superbikes to artistic pieces, these are the most expensive motorcycles that have been sold.
6. Dodge Tomahawk V10 Superbike, $550,000
First on the list of most expensive motorcycles, we have the Dodge Tomahawk V10 Superbike, which actually has four wheels. Along with an independent suspension system, and a huge V10 that was borrowed from the Viper, this bike is one of the most insane bikes on the road.
The big kick is that it’s not street-legal. It’s more of a rolling sculpture that shows as a testament to extreme engineering. Some might argue that the motorcycle isn’t technically a motorcycle because it has four wheels, but either way, we’re still going to count it. With a price point of $550,000, this is one of the most expensive bikes out there.

5. Harley Davidson Cosmic Starship, $1.5 Million
One of the most expensive motorcycles comes from a popular bike brand, Harley-Davidson. If you’re a bike guru, or just getting into the industry, you’ve heard of the Harley brand. While most of the bikes on the list come from luxurious and exquisite items and creations, this one more has to do with one-off customizations and uniqueness.
The Cosmic Starship is also known as the Million Dollar Harley, or Jack Armstron’s (artist and Neil Armstron’s nephew) bike. The 2002 V-Rod has been painted in Armstong’s Cosmic Extensionalism style, which makes the price skyrocket. While the price points were asking for between $15 million to $30 million, the buyer grabbed it for only $3 million.
4. BMS Yamaha Chopper, $3 Million
Yamaha is a popular brand on the road as well. And while some are very common-looking bikes, this one is out of the world, though. This chopper sets it apart from the crowd with its design and coloration. The gold and bright red colors make it pop, with the design looking like flames.
The owner of Ford Lauderdale’s Broward Motorsports, Sam Nehme, planned to create something unique in the industry, and boy did he hit the mark. He set up a creative division for BMS Choppers in 2003 where they often created custom bikes and cars for celebrities like Flo Ride, Diddy, and Ice T. Now, with this item, customers with some extra money can purchase his amazing work with just $3 million.

3. Ecosse ES1 Spirit, $3.6 Million
Over $3 million might be an absurd price for a motorcycle, but for vehicle gurus, it’s an exciting venture. The Ecosse ES1 Spirit can reach up to 250 miles per hour, is made with carbon fiber, is custom-tailored, and is a state-of-the-art bike. The bike was created by a group of English Formula One engineers and was made to be a radical release in the industry.
It’s lightweight, around 100 pounds less than the current 1000cc sports bikes, thanks to the lack of frame. The bike should boast an ergonomic fitment like an F1 driver’s seat, with advanced composite construction and electronic controls. 10 customers have the opportunity to get ahold of this bad boy for a total of $3.6 million.

2. 1949 E90 AJS Porcupine, $7 Million
The AJS Porcupine has a stellar title that motorcycle buffs might recognize. The British motorcycle won the very first 500cc World Roadracing, which is now called MotoGP, Championship back in 1949. But did you know that only four were built? A sale through the National Motorcycle Museum led the Porcupine to sell for a whopping $7 million, with so many trying to get ahold of the coveted brand.
There was even a sale through Bonhams’ in 2021 that saw a Porcupine sell for almost $300,000. While not as much as the Museum’s auction, it goes to show you that collectors are still trying to get ahold of this magnificent motorcycle, making it one of the most expensive motorcycles in history.

1. Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Fighter, $11 Million
Neiman Marcus is not a motorcycle brand, but a luxury department store that was founded in Texas in 1907, which makes this an odd entry. Coming in the number one spot on the list of most expensive motorcycles, the Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Fighter is an outrageous addition. The department store has a range of products, from clothing to jewelry to decorations for your home or office.
But sometime in 2008, they collaborated with Confederate Motorcycles to create and sell the Fighter, which is based on the Confederate’s 2011 P120 Combat Fighter. While it’s street-legal, it doesn’t look comfortable to ring on due to the tiny saddle. But that didn’t stop the price from rising.
The initial release put the Fighter price at only $110,000, but they ended up auctioning it for a total of $11 million. If you’re looking for unique motorcycles in your collection, the Fighter might be one of the most unique and interesting creations we’ve seen so far.
