5. Man Hanging Out, Czech Republic
One of the many world monuments that make you pause is the one located on Husova Street in Prague. When you walk down the street, you’ll come face to face with a man hanging with one hand on a pole. The bronze sculpture is dedicated to the father of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud.

4. Georgia Guidestones, United States
Another one of the unique world monuments from the United States. Located in Elberton County in Georgia, a man was commissioned to create this sculpture in 1979, but disappeared without revealing his true identity, leaving messages engraved on stones in eight different languages: The Ten Commandments that should govern the modern world. While there are several mysterious stories about this monument, including its geometric distribution and astronomical orientation, nothing has been confirmed. There are even theories that a time capsule is buried under the slabs.

3. The Stone Heads of Mount Nemrut, Turkey
One of the interesting world monuments is the Stone Heads of Mount Nemrut in Turkey. In 1881, a German General was on a mission and heard about the existence of these states. He decided to climb to the top of the mountain, 2150 meters above sea level, to check if they were real. When he arrived, he found the gigantic heads and bodies of stone that had been forgotten for centuries. The area turned out to be a funerary monument commissioned by King Antiochus I Theos in the first century BC, though his grave was never found.

2. The Fork, Switzerland
The stunning monument stands 26 feet high and sits in Lake Geneva in Switzerland. The prongs are submerged in the water, and it is an unusual sight when walking along the Perdonnet Pier in the city of Vevey. The fork was actually supposed to be a temporary exhibition of the company Nestle, but the city decided to keep it because of how popular it was.

The beautiful sculpture of Lucifer is not only something everyone should see in person, but it is unique. They say the monument is located exactly 666 meters above sea level.
