On the brooch, “Chanel 750” is etched into the back and the fish is adorned with four amethysts and one blue sapphire. With other small diamonds embellishing the fins, the price tag jumps to around $8,300.

4. Cat Mid-Century Brooch, $8,600
Coming from the 1950s is our fourth selection, the Mid-Century Cat Brooch. Made up of 18k yellow gold, the body is embellished with stunning rubies while the eye is made of a round-cut natural emerald. The jewels add up to 7.85 carats, pushing this brooch to $8,600.
3. Antique Tremblant Flower Brooch, $13,400

The 19th-century piece was thought to be made by the French, but the exact designer is not known. Even so, this brooch is worth around $13,400.

Our second most valuable brooch is made by Van Cleef & Arpels, one of the most reputed jewelry houses in the world. This piece features two dancing fairies as a brooch pair, one with an oval-cut moonstone face and the other with a yellow-sapphire face. Made of yellow gold and adorned with small diamonds, the value of this brooch skyrockets to $45,000.

1. Seaman Schepps Brooch Pin, $77,900
Last but certainly not least on our antique brooches list is the 1960s Seaman Schepps aquamarine diamond brooch pin. Along with the aquamarine, the brooch has a gold frame and smaller diamonds scattered around the piece. The label is engraved into the back of the design, and since the brooch is still in excellent condition it is valued at $77,900.
