The first on the list of discontinued candy brands worth a lot more today is the famous Bazooka gum, which was introduced in 1947. While the gum is still around, their wrapping has changed. And with it, the end of Bazooka Joe comics. The wrapper of the gum included comic strips about Bazooka Joe who wears a black eyepatch, and is one fo the most distinctive advertising characters of the 20th century. The comic strip wrappers are worth around $100 a piece.

5. Wonka Bars
Wonka Bar, inspired by the fictional bar from the 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl, is one of the best discontinued candy brands that you can invest money in. While you can find several collectible bars from the 2005 film for up to $800, the bar itself is usually around $100 or more depending on the packaging and seller.

4. Space Dust
Space Dust emerged in 1978 when space exploration was a huge deal, and was inspired by another hit candy at the time, Pop Rocks. The space-themed candy was quickly changed to Cosmic Candy after parents had issues with the name, as it sounded close to the drug Angel Dust, or PCP. Even after the name change, the candy still didn’t stick around, fading after a while until it was disconintued. You can find this candy still on secondary marketplaces for around $100 or more.

3. Chicken Dinner Candy bar
Chicken Dinner made it’s debut in the 1920s, and lasted decades until it was finally pulled from shelves in the 60s after being acquired by Pearson’s. And by far it’s one of the best discontinued candy brands that is worth a hefty price. Despite the name, the candy was just chocolate-coasted nuts, and was made in hopes of replacing some of the other sugar sweets that you could find. You can find these candies for sale for around $300 on secondary marketplaces.

2. Altoid Sours
Altoids are iconic for their metal tin case that started as simple breath mints. But one version of the candy that is worth hundreds today are the Altoid Sours, which are worth over $200 for sealed tins. Some even go for a whopping $400 for a two pack of sealed tangerine sours.
