1980s Polly Pocket History
This smart gadget was created in the early 1980s by Chris Wiggs. The miniature playhouse he made was kept inside an old makeup compact, and it was intended as a toy for his daughter Kate. As soon as his daughter showed him how much she loved the toy, he realized he had made something special.
