Fall is the season of receiving and giving gifts, for the gaming community what better gift than a new AAA video game.

So let us take a look at the 5 most anticipated games of 2021, the hot fall games that’ll be on everyone’s shopping list:

5. Far Cry 6

First up on our most anticipated games list is the ever-popular Far Cry series by Ubisoft.

For those of you not familiar with the Far Cry franchise, it is a first-person shooter that is usually set in exotic regions of the world with fictional tyrannical leaders. You start from scratch, explore the immersive open world, while also taking down cells of bad guys working for the said tyrannical leader.

Far Cry 6 is set on a fictional island of Yara, that is inspired by a retro-inspired Cuba. The main protagonist Dani Rojas will be going against the oppressive dictator, Antón Castillo. Antón is played by the infamous actor Giancarlo Esposito from Breaking Bad.

4. FIFA 22

We can’t talk about upcoming games without mentioning the latest installment in the hit soccer series by Electronic Arts. This year’s FIFA is adding new features and new animation technology that will make the playing experience more impressive.

This year EA Sports used a real-life football stadium and captured the motion of 22 players simultaneously as well as the motion of the ball to improve animations. They are calling it Hyper Motion technology.

3. Age of Empires 4

Age of Empire will be returning back to our PCs this fall. Microsoft has been teasing Age of Empires 4 for almost a year and we got some juicy details about the real-time strategy game a few months back.  AoE 4 will release with 8 factions and 4 campaigns.

The original AOE hit stores back in 1997, and for fans of the numerous editions and remasters released over the years, this new version is a dream come true. The Age of empires community is still thriving.

Age of Empires 4 will be releasing on October 29th 20221.

2. Call of Duty Vanguard

The next Call of Duty installment is set in World War II and is titled Call of Duty Vanguard. CoD is going back to its World War II roots. The game will feature maps from all the theatres of the war of WWII, including Europe, North Africa, the Eastern Front, and more.

Call of Duty vanguard will also bring new mechanics to the CoD franchise, with things like blind fire ability, allowing players to shoot from behind cover. Call of Duty Vanguard will also be part of Call of Duty live service, so this means that Warzone, will be receiving Call of Duty Vanguard content as well. There will also be a new map released with Warzone. Treyarch Studios are developing Vanguards Zombie mode.

1. Battlefield 2042

At the top of our most anticipated games list is one of the most hyped shooters coming this fall, the next installment set in the Battlefield franchise. Battlefield is moving away from the World War settings and jumping into the future with Battlefield 2042.

Battlefield 2042 will not have a single-player campaign and instead will be focusing on multiplayer. One of the most exciting things announced is their introduction of 128 player matches. This is double the number of max players in previous titles.

Other than the classic battlefield experience, Battlefield 2042 will introduce a sandbox environment called Portal where players can play around and make their own custom experiences and servers. Ripple Effect Studios, previously Dice LA, also announced another new game mode called Hazard mode that has been described as a blend of Espcae from Tarkov and Hunt Showdown.
