The 1997 action role-playing game is widely regarded as a pioneer of the Metroidvania genre. The game introduces a nonlinear exploration, RPG progression, and interconnected castle environments. In the game, you play as Maria Renard, who searches for Count Dracula in his castle to try to defeat him.

3. Final Fantasy VII

In this game, you’ll follow Cloud Strife, a former soldier turned mercenary, who is hired by Avalanche to sabotage Shinra Electric Power Company’s Mako reactors. From its high praise and reputation, along with its nostalgia value, you can usually see it priced around $1,300 to $4,000.

2. Resident Evil 2

With the recent release of Requiem, it’s clear to see how much the graphics have advanced. However, that doesn’t mean Resident Evil 2 isn’t one of the best old PlayStation games of all time. Kennedy or Claire Redfield to play as they navigate the city, fighting hordes of zombies and solving puzzles. You can find this between $500 to $1,000.

The game follows Harry Mason as he searches for his missing adopted daughter in the eerie town of Silent Hill. Within it, he uncovered dark secrets and terrifying creatures. It’s the first installment to the terrifying series, and it’s also pretty valuable, with Price Charting putting it at $860, or even $1,500 graded.
