6. R. J. Arendt ’74 World’s Fair Vintage Calendar

Expo ’74, officially known as the International Exposition on the Environment in 1974, was a world’s fair held from May 4 to November 3 in Spokane, Washington. It was the first environmentally themed world’s fair, attracting around 5.6 million visitors. The fair helped eliminate unsightly railroads from its downtown riverfront and created Riverfront Park. The USA calendar that featured the fair is one of the most valuable vintage calendars, priced at around $226 on sites like 1st Dibs.

5. Owen Miller National Savings 1950 Calendar

Owen Miller first worked as an artist in New Zealand, but later went to the UK to work for J Lyons & CO until he turned to work for the Ministry of Aircraft Production. After the war, he began producing posters for National Savings, and one such item worth a lot of money, around $540, is his vintage calendar poster from 1950 featuring various waterfowl.
