2012 holds another one of the most expensive Super Bowl ticket sold. Super Bowl XLVI saw the New York Giants and the New England Patriots battle it out at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. This was the first time the Super Bowl was played in Indiana, which caused for a high demand of tickets.

In addition to winning their fourth Super Bowl in team history, the Giants set a new record for the lowest regular season record by a Super Bowl champion. And November 30, 2024, one of their tickets was sold for a huge $16,299 on eBay, a prize for football fan collectors, as it’s the only gold ticket not used that has been verified by PSA. 4. Super Bowl 50, $25,000
