A low-mile 2017 Ford GT that was once owned by actor and comedian Tim Allen is headed to the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction this January 17-25, 2026. Best of all, you can catch most of it on YouTube.
With just 937 miles on the clock, this 2017 GT, which is one of roughly 1,350 built, is the headline automobile for sale in the WestWorld of Scottsdale lineup.

As a big collector myself, I’ve participated in enough auctions to know how this one will go. The ingredients, which are a low-mile supercar and a familiar celebrity name, will ultimately lead to a fantastically high sale price.
The 2017 Ford GT is consigned to the auction through Silver Arrow Cars Ltd.
More than an auction
The Barrett-Jackson event isn’t just an auction, but an entire show you can watch on YouTube, The History Channel, and FYI. Check out the Instagram post below for the full schedule.
Inside the show you’ll find the Barrett-Jackson Cup, which includes 50 professionally built restomods and customs going toe-to-toe in a builds competition. The show is presented by CRC and BluePrint Engines, with winners revealed on Saturday, January 24.
For fans of restmods and customs, the judging panel reads like a greatest-hits list for car TV fans. Including Bobby Alloway, Troy Trepanier, and Chip Foose.
As THE SHOP puts it, it’s the kind of lineup that turns a build competition into a must-see event.
Another aspect of this event is the Friday night “Rock the Block” concert. According to Highline Autos, Cole Swindell headlines on January 16, with Chase Rice is the opening act.
Finally, and most importantly, beyond the cars and celebrity sightings, the Barrett-Jackson charity, which has raised more than $168 million since its 1971 founding, is a great reason to support the event.
Other notable cars for sale

Other cars likely to grab headlines include a 2023 Brabus 900 Rocket R. Highline Autos points out that this car is the first of 25 produced worldwide, and one of only two that are street legal in the U.S.
Additionally, in the custom world, Highline Autos adds that Jeff Hayes Customs has two fresh Corvette builds set to take center stage. These include a 1967 Corvette convertible and a 1963 Split-Window Coupe.
AZ Big Media says that the Barrett-Jackson event will see over 2,000 vehicles cross the block in Scottsdale. A huge number that should excite car fans and collectors alike. The great thing about this event is that one minute it’s modern supercars, the next it’s old-school muscle. If you love cars, don’t miss the event.
